I started work more than 2 weeks ago

The weekend before work started, S and I picked blueberries.


We had originally intended to pick blackberries, but we were just a bit late.

I decided a fresh blueberry pie would still be well worth pursuing.

The washed and stemmed blueberries found their way into a bowl...


...and then somehow into a pie...


...which was delicious.


Sunday night before I started work I made pancake batter with most of the remaining blueberries. The next morning I was well prepared to engage my mind in research and writing!
