For one major benefit of the above schedule, however it works out, do a quick browser search for the word "Monday" and note the results. Three day weekend every weekend? I think so! Other benefits: state constitutional law is a paper course and capped at 20 which means it'll feel more like college again--no final, and more comfortable participation. It also means multiple sections of essentially constitutional law, which deal with some of the issues that most interest me. Any of the set {Domestic Violence, Family Law, Education Law} would be excellent, though my optimal ranking (the set above is ascending in terms of preference) also unfortunately reflects the order in which the classes filled. If the schedule stays as it is now, I will miss out on the DC trip and have no evening classes; if I get into the class associated with the DC trip I will have to drop DV and therefore get off one of the waitlists (most likely Family Law since Educational Law filled the first day of registration). If I keep writing this paragraph with gobbeldygook would anyone notice? It doesn't really matter, as this is mainly for my own benefit. Incidentally, classes I might have taken had they been at better times include Sexual Orientation Law (Mondays) and a seminar on the Death Penalty (Saturdays). Alas. Incidentally, if you're curious about the low credit load, I get two more credits for Law Review. Also if I need another, I might see about doing a Directed Research on the Child Welfare system...hmm...

Well, I have reading and writing to do. More another time.
