This Weekend

Mason, Dixon & I
Mason, Dixon & I

I have spent the weekend in DE. I am on break now!

I went for a hike in overalls and no shirt and visited a marker of the Mason-Dixon line. The woods were nice and there was a pond from my childhood, with turtle rock remaining strong next to it. Alex broke a rotten log and fell in a creek while my dad and I laughed.

Also this weekend I got a new suit for my birthday! It looks nice. Believe it or not I got an Abercrombie shirt today. It is a medium but the sleeves are long enough for me. Plus it's not pre-distressed. Hurray!

I've left the realm of linear time.

Today also I accompanied Alex on a summer job hunt. This is why I was in Abercrombie. He submitted approximately seven applications. He also resolved a computer problem with Dell tech support in about 15 minutes. That was pretty amazing.

Between job hunts we had lunch with Grandpa, which was nice as always.

Other things deserve mention. I've been maintaining my running, which is harder here where it's hilly. I went to see The Hills Have Eyes with Alex and his posse. I'm pretty sure I recommend it to almost no one.

Friday night we had sushi with Meg and Chip for their birthday. It was quite the occasion. Have you ever seen a wooden boat covered in sashimi?

Because I am on break I must write in simple sentences.

Sunday night grandparents came over for dinner.

Tomorrow I steal Alex and go home to my Summer and my kittens and my Providence. I will tutor Tom and pick Marc up from the airport. I will fill out my FAFSA. Hopefully we will do fun things for the remainder of the week!

Hurray!
