A Quick One

I need to tell you about four movies, Jarhead, Late Marriage, Sin City, and Apocalypse Now. I might be able to tell you about Howl's Moving Castle by the next update, too. But I have class in ten minutes so you don't get to here about them now. It's been weird in the apartment without Summer there. The mail is piling up on her place at the table. I've taken the opportunity to experiment with some interesting dishes, namely (Saturday) broiled pork chops with apple-gorgonzola sauce and a side of cinnamon and ginger baked sweet potatoes, and (Sunday) Moroccan chicken and lentils with a side of curried cauliflower and chick peas. Those have made up four, maybe five of my last five meals. Tonight is probably soup, salad, and bread. Eight minutes to class now. I wanted to tell you that I set out on an easy 5k today and ended up under 8m/m, surprisingly. I guess training is paying off. Penultimately, I've been seeing about getting Summer's birthday ready, and ultimately I am preparing to watch the Eagles tonight. I'm not sure what level of emotional preparedness that requires, but I'm sure I'm at a disadvantage with my usual source of support galavanting around DC talking about brains with smart people. Ok, five minutes for class and I'm heading up.
