Sad
I accidentally kicked one of these

today at Beavertail State Park. Now I feel bad...it seemed like a nice snake at the time, but I wasn't sure. I wish there were some way to apologize to a tiny, scared reptile that lives 45 minutes away from me somewhere.
The park, by the way, was quite beautiful. Rocky shores and lots of little tiny coves the right size for just a few people (and all occupied as such, unfortunately). Also I saw more than one person going in to swim naked. That was strange.
On a different note, thank you for the comments lately. I'm glad to hear that people might be getting something from this other than just knowing the mundanities of my life. Hopefully something else will pique my curiosity this evening so I can put an intereresting entry together.
And finally I'm going to stupid myself up tomorrow by getting a VCR and a TV with rabbit ear antenna, both from craigslist, a fantastic little site. This will primarily be used for watching football and movies, I think, at least until Summer gets back (and assuming I have time for each of those pursuits, anyway).
As for right now, I'll either do my dinner (gnocchi al pesto rosso, insalata degli spinacci) dishes or perhaps try to sell Powerbook 3400c on craigslist. Au revoir, les enfants.

Just in case you forgot...

Cool daddy-o. I actually check on you pretty frequently, but I bet you garnered a few more viewers this way, plus I looked again.
By the way, I can't get the mysite thing at Verizon to work properly...did you have any trouble with that?
Makki,
I can only use mysite@verizon.com with Internet Explorer. It doesn't seem to like Firefox. That could be because of the pop-up blocking. Mysite opens a new window where you do the work.

If you're still checking these comments, do you know whether there's a way to just write in html and actually post a page you've written to Verizon mysite? I don't especially want to work within their narrow options...
