new design
I'm trying to kind of overhaul the site on my Carleton account. This has begun with the pictures page. That's not even complete yet (I have yet to transfer many of the pictures to the new format and some of the links don't work correctly as the pages to which they will eventually link do not yet exist), but if you want to take a peek and let me know what you think of the basic layout and idea, that would be lovely.
I'll probably write more later about what I've been up to and all, but I'd say it's most easily summarized by the word comps. I've finally fired up my own comps engine and started reresearching with a mind to the criticisms given me regarding my proposal, and I've been trying to help Summer with her talk (which is tomorrow). I hope to get writing by next week; this weekend will probably involve some superfun library time. The next weekend, of course, will involve something much more super.
The days are flying by like magical green bunnies.

I always like your pictures. There are a few where I am not sure of the subject - surprise. Perhaps you would care to enlighten us! Good to hear that you are now able to procede with your comps...much good luck with that. I am looking forward to hearing about what you have to say about the whole process, and the special emphasis required this year. Coming from this family that should have been fun - but odd nonetheless. We should send you a picture of the house, as your auntie says, it looks like it has giant teeth, with icicles down to the ground in places. We look forward to the next installment of pictures.
There should be many more pictures soon. Hopefully by the end of the weekend, I would say. I may try to come up with some means of labeling the pictures, as you wish, though I may choose instead to let them stand as is, in which case you are welcome to email about specific ones. Also many of the pictures will be smaller than before to allow for more of them; I will include a comment stating that larger versions of the pictures will be available per email request.
