Logic

The past couple of days have been plenty fun, too. Last night after playing a 1 AM game of Madden (49-3, Eagles), I decided to get my pesky Advanced Logic problem set out of the way for next Tuesday. So I did, and it was fun. Classes have continued to go well, with the material and professorial levels in both classes ranking very highly, and the quality of the class discussions significantly higher in Courts than logic. Plus in the past couple of days I've installed OpenOffice 1.1.4, Mozilla Firefox 1.0, and Winamp 5.08. Perhaps not surprisingly, based on my experiences thus far, I'd recommend any of the three. I also installed a TeX system, but couldn't figure out how to even begin a LaTeX document, and thus deleted the whole system.
For other news, Thursday morning I had another nice breakfast with Lauren at The Kitchen which involved Lauren's experimental nonconformism. I don't recall whether I mentioned before, but Neal and I shared honey roasted peanuts in the break from Logic on Tuesday, but I forgot them yesterday (by which I mean Thursday). I've also been talking to Taylor quite a bit about his Roman experience, since he participated in the same program I attended last fall. This began mainly last night at an extended snack bar visit (a smoothie and a chef's salad for me). At that same visit, Summer and I completed the application for our penultimate radio show,
Fun Time with Laveranues, which should begin sometime this coming week; we will know when exactly once Andy completes the programming tomorrow. Andy also helped some with the application. To cap off the social news, this evening Cristina, Summer, and I shared a pizza and then participated in merriment at Brooks house which included a couple of game whose names I forget but both of which were fun. The evening ended quite nicely before I came home.
I also did other stuff like composing the basic parts of my statement for Doug, calling Roger Williams (no answer), writing house emails, track practices, and the like. I am furthermore considering applying to the University of Vermont, the nation's top environmental law school, since they offered to waive my application fee. I need to look into this more; luckily they claim a deadline of March 1.
I am not thinking terribly interesting thoughts at the moment save that I think (for now) that minority rights is more the area I would like to go into than environmental law, and next term I keep forgetting but there is a seminar offered on religion and constitutional law which I might be interested in taking in addition to the aforementioned courses. It is offered by the same prof who is teaching the Environmental policy course and my American Courts class now; I am feeling silly that I have not taken any of her courses before now.
I just remembered that I even got to talk to Alex this evening; what a good start to the weekend. I wonder what I'll do with all my free time (besides Lauren's party tomorrow evening, a meeting Sunday evening, some football, and perhaps a trip to Mel's to enjoy her new furniture and catch up). Hmmmm.
I wonder whether I'll miss the winter next year. It can be so shockingly beautiful outside, and you can really see the stars out here...I bet I won't too much, though.
