A rarity: an elected member of the executive branch claiming he wants the issue decided by the courts. I guess Arnold agrees with me that the courts should be allowed to lead the way ahead of the legislature on issues of civil rights?

That said, I'm pretty sure that even my approval of the judiciary flexing its muscle to protect minority rights does not mean that I'd veto the legislature's attempt to bring about the same result. There's something fishy going on there, Arnold...
